More than just a surf school, the West Surf Project is a project that aims to provide children and adults with tools to safely read, assess and enter the sea.

I've had my first surflessons with west surf project and now I never want to stop surfing! I started in March and stayed 6 months due to studys in Caldas da Rainha, which allowed me to learn surfing pretty well and. become a litttle part of this great, funny family.

While i was living in Portugal for half a year i started surfing with West Surf Project. I loved it so much! It was always fun on the water and the surf teachers are awesome. I fell in love with the surfing and now want to come back to Portugal as much as possible to surf again! ‍️️

We stayed 1 week in the region of Caldas da Rainha. Our kids (16 and 14 years old) had surf lessons with West Surf Project. They had 4 lessons. At the beginning of the week they started in the mini waves. At the end of the week they were able to surf on the bigger waves. They had so much fun!!! The coaching, the materials, the atmosphere, everything was super!!

We had so much fun taking our baby steps in learning to surf. Teacher Anna stole our hearts (me and my husband and our 9 year old daughter Isabella) and we learned so much. It is the most amazing feeling when you find your balance and let the ocean carry you to shore. We are already planning for next year!
